About the Internship

WOW Brand is seeking a motivated and outgoing Podcast Booking & Social Media Intern to support our podcast outreach, guest booking, and marketing initiatives.

In this role, you will help grow the WOW Brand Podcast by identifying and connecting with business owners, entrepreneurs, and professionals who may be interested in becoming podcast guests.

You will communicate with potential guests through phone calls, emails, and messaging platforms, introduce them to the podcast, qualify prospective guests, and schedule podcast appointments. You will also have opportunities to assist with social media content and other podcast-related marketing activities.

This internship is ideal for individuals interested in podcasting, digital marketing, social media, communications, public relations, or business development.

Compensation: This is a commission-based internship. Interns earn $25 for every qualified podcast appointment successfully booked, subject to applicable qualification and verification requirements. There is no guaranteed hourly wage or base salary.

Responsibilities

• Conduct outreach to business owners, entrepreneurs, and professionals through outbound calls, emails, and messaging platforms.
• Introduce the WOW Brand Podcast and explain the opportunity to become a podcast guest.
• Identify and qualify potential podcast guests based on established criteria.
• Schedule qualified podcast appointments and coordinate booking details.
• Follow up with prospective guests to confirm interest and appointment availability.
• Maintain accurate records of outreach activities, leads, follow-ups, and scheduled appointments.
• Assist with podcast-related social media activities, including content preparation and promotion.
• Support marketing campaigns and promotional initiatives to increase podcast visibility.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with business owners and potential guests.
• Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and coaching to improve outreach and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfortable communicating with business owners and professionals.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing follow-ups.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as with a team.
• Willingness to make outbound calls and initiate conversations with new contacts.
• Interest in podcasting, social media, marketing, public relations, or content creation.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and basic digital marketing is an advantage.
• Previous experience in appointment setting, customer service, sales, or marketing is preferred but not required.
